Q1: I have just changed e-mail providers – do I need to change anything with TOTALcomputerbackup?
A1: If you were using an always-on connection (ADSL, Cable or LAN) and have simply changed to another provider but
still have an always-on connection - you do not need to do anything.
A2. If you were using a dial up account and have upgraded to an always on connection (ADSL, Cable or LAN), please
follow the instructions below:
- Click on the Start menu on your taskbar
- Select: Programs – TOTALcomputerbackup – Change My Account Details
- Scroll down (past Username and Password) to ‘Connection’
- Remove the tick that was in ‘Use Existing Dialup Account’
- Click SUBMIT
- Click OK when the 'settings changed' box appears
A3. If you were using a dial up account and have changed providers but are still using a dial up account, please
follow the instructions below:
- Click on the Start menu on your taskbar
- Select: Programs – TOTALcomputerbackup – Change My Account Details
- Scroll down (past Username and Password) to ‘Connection’
- From the pull down menu in ‘Select Dialup Account’ choose your new ISP
- Click SUBMIT
- Click OK when the 'settings changed' box appears
Q2: What happens if I forget my password or username? Please allow up to 24 hours for this to arrive and follow the instructions on the
email on how to activate your new password.

Q4: How do I cancel my subscription and what happens to my data?
When you cancel your subscription, TOTALcomputerbackup will ensure that all your data is erased
from our servers within 30 days.

A: Your Username is present on all TOTALcomputerbackup correspondence that you
receive (eg: your welcome email or Backup successful emails). In the event that
you forget or misplace your password, login to your
personal account section (at the top of any page on this website) where at
the bottom of the page you will be able to automatically request a new password.
A: You may pay for TOTALcomputerbackup by either credit or debit card. All payments are processed by WorldPay Secure
Payment Services and as such TOTALcomputerbackup do not hold any users card details.
A: To cancel your subscription, please contact
accounts@totalcomputerbackup.com with your username and email address typing "unsubscribe" in the subject field.
Note: If we receive notification to cancel during the 30 day free trial period no charge whatsoever will be made.
