Q2: How do I backup - do I have to manually enter information at TOTALmobilebackup?
A: All you need to do is select the synchronization option on your handset and all your numbers will backup automatically.

Q3: What happens if I lose my numbers - how can I restore them?
A: If you have lost your numbers but still have your phone then all you need to do is select the synchronization option on your handset and all your numbers will be restored back to your phone within a few minutes.

If you have lost your numbers because you no longer have your phone you will first need to set-up TOTALmobilebackup again on your new phone. Just login to your account at the top of this page with your username and password, select your new phone from the list and either request for us to automatically set it up or do it yourself manually. Q4: What can I backup / restore?
A: You can save all of your contact details saved in the phones actual memory (not the simcard). We will shortly be adding additional capability to include backing up of the calendar information and depending on your handset tasks/jotter and email.

Q5: How do I know my information has backed up?
A: Once you have carried out a backup, login to your account and you will see all your information immediately.

Q6: How long will it take to backup / restore?
A: This will depend on the amount of information that you are backing up or restoring but will usually take between 30 and 60 seconds. Note. The first time that you do a backup or restore it may take a little longer (possibly about 5 or 6 minutes) depending on the number of contacts.

Q7: Do TOTALmobilebackup charge for backing up / restoring?
A: There are no charges for using TOTALmobilebackup.

Q8: Can I backup / restore my numbers from / to any phone?
A: Yes (subject to compatibility with the service as noted in FAQ 2 above) there is no limit to the number of phones that you can register and use with your TOTALmobilebackup account. Note. This can be very useful when upgrading your phone and transferring your contacts from one handset to another.

Q9: Can I backup / restore my numbers from anywhere?
A: Yes providing that your phone can get an appropriate signal there is no issue with using the service anywhere in the world. Note. You can also login to your account via our website and access your information in that way if need be.

Q10: What's the login area for?
A: The login area provides access to your account with TOTALmobilebackup. It allows you to view all the information that you are backing up with us providing a virtual address book available from any computer anywhere in the world - all you need is an Internet connection.

You can also update any of your own details here including registering and setting up new phones to work with your account.

Q11: How safe is my information with TOTALmobilebackup?
A: Your information is completely safe with TOTALmobilebackup - as part of our standard service we backup your information to 3 independent maximum security data centres located in the UK.
